It was very difficult for us to wake up at 05:00, but we were going to visit Machu Picchu. At 06:00 we took a mini taxi to Ollantaytampo, where the road ends. Then we took the train of Perurail. The trail was wonderful inside green scenery and parallel to the river Urubamba. After only half an hour, the train stopped unexpectedly, without no one knowing the reason. It started again after two hours, so we arrived at Aguas Calientes, a tourist village, at 12:30.

Then we took a bus upwards to Machu Picchu. The ancient Inca ruins surrounded with green mountain peaks were combined to a magic scenery. We walked around for three hours and we did not want to leave.

We returned to Aguas Calientes with bus again. We walked around the village of Aguas Calientes until we took the train back to Ollantaytampo. Then again we returned to Cuzco with a mini bus. We were tired and after a spaghetti we went for sleep.
