We started our journey with bus to Chile at 08:30. We were the only passengers without backpacks. The rest were all backpackers. The route was again across through the steppes, like the landscapes that we encounter while driving. After 3 hours we arrived at Rio Turbio, the only and last city of Argentina before the border with Chile. There, we made a stop without understanding why. Then we got down the bus for the passport control station in Argentina. A few kilometers away, got down again for the passport control in Chile. Here, apart from the typical stamps in passports, our luggage was checked through the machine. We delayed more than 1:30 hours until we started again. We thought that the journey by bus was a bad idea. Eventually we arrived in Puerto Natales at 14:00, after traveling for 6 hours totally.

The city was nothing special. While searching we stumbled upon a sign for a car rental. The guy rented to us a diesel car, old, reused and large, but the cost was the half than renting from an international company such as Hertz. We exchanged Chilean pesos, we got supplies from a local super market and started our trip in Clilean Patagonia. In Chile we were going to visit 3 environmental parks of the National Park Torres Del Paine. After of 3.5 hours drive we entered the park under rain (entrance 15000 pesos per person) and went straight to the hostel «Posada Rio Serano». At dinner, we started to test the Chilean wines ...
